iBook Author and Copyright

iBook Author is a wonderful content-creation app that allows teachers to create and publish multimedia, interactive textbooks online. This app is not only free, but easy to use and offers templates to assist with the writing process as well. You can import text, images and videos and export your published document to share with others. This all sounds too good to be true, and it is! But one concern that you need to be aware of is the copyright issue surrounding the use of this app. As always, you need to be aware of copyright infringement and what it means when producing any work. Here is a video that I came across that may help you to identify what you need to do to avoid any issues. In the meantime, happy creating!

Diane,
Any classes using this app.? It's incredibly simple to use as you point out. I've used to make a few interactive books and can see how it would a fabulous tool in many classes.

Hi Karl,
Not too much use of this app last year, although other book creation tools were used. Hoping to promote more use this year! Wonderful tool!
